Kenneth Tide first decided he wanted to be a DJ in January 2008, so with friends from school he made his first band “Kascade” and although nothing was released they played live around the UK to try to pick up a fan base, but with not much luck, so Kenneth decided to go his seperate way and form “Turning Tide”, the first release was a self release on (www.SoundClick.Com/TurningTide) entitled “Radio Wavez” the single became massive over the internet topping many charts, UK label “Lot 49 Records” spotted talent and relased a promo-single “Back 4 Me”, the single was successful but unfortuantly Lot 49 went bankrupt because Sound Cloud ltd could no longer function as a private limited company so shares became open to the public and the labels were shut down. However one thought last single was released “Sound Cloud” with a promo-video. The single was very successful and caught the attention of US label “Elma Pix Records”, they signed the act and released their EP “Turning Tide EP”, which featured a new song “Disco Disco” and a new video, the EP sold well on both sides of the Atlantic reaching 77 in Sound Click and 52 in the UK Charts but did not appear in the Billboard charts. At the end of 2008 Kenneth Tide flew to Boston, America and Paris, France to shoot two new videos. “France” was the next single released in 2009 and was also the last release under Elma Pix and the first release in Australia, the single did well in the UK peaking at 22 but charted low in Sound Click at 125 and did not make the Australia or US Charts. After Kenneth Tide left Elma Pix he set up his own label “Turning Tide Records” and released the debut album “Wavez” with the lead single “Without Me”, the album sold well throught the globe peaking at 80 UK, 52 Aus, 90 Sound Click. A UK tour saw the fan base grow, “Turning Tide Records” saw some rough times and couldn’t keep open and sadly closed so now Turning Tide is looking for a new label to release the second studio album.
