zzSEPARATE SELF IS A ROCK BAND FROM MEDICINE HAT, AB. SEPARATE SELF WAS FORMED BY CODY EVJEN AND MIKE PARKS IN THE SPRING OF 2008. STIJN KROOSHOOP JOINED THE BAND IN FEB. 2009 TO REPLACE THE LAST DRUMMER. HE MOVED TO CANADA FROM HOLLAND IN JULY 2008. CODY EVJEN IS ORIGINALLY FROM SWIFT CURRENT, SK. AND MIKE PARKS IS FROM BELLEVILLE, ONT. WE BELIEVE WE BRING A DIFFERENT STYLE OF SOUND OUT IN OUR MUSIC BECAUSE OF THE NUMEROUS MUSICAL INFLUENCES ON EACH OF US.
